The Owen family has been in the piano business for three generations and in Southern California for nearly 60 years, starting in North Hollywood in 1947 and gradually moved west to the present location in Canoga Park in 1966.
Since then Owen Piano Co. has offered a full line of new a acoustic and digital pianos from Kawai distinguished as, “The worlds most advanced piano”. We have a great selection of used pianos including vintage restored Steinways.
Private teaching studios with an accredited teaching staff. Our sheet music department has method books and a large selection of easy to advanced classical, jazz, and pop music.
In addition music supplies and fun gifts for students and teachers alike. Our service department feature only expert piano tuners and technicians. Overnight and long term piano rentals. As of July 1st 2006 we have divided our building into two separate music stores under one roof.
The Guitar Merchant offers guitar, both electric and acoustic, new and used along with amps, drums, percussion, and accessories. In store service and repairs on all brands of guitars. Lessons for all instruments along with a live venue that features open mic performances and headliner shows. For evening show times and performer info please call or e-mail.
